Are you a great communicator? Do you have experience in campaign management and excel in engaging communities? And can you craft great comms? Canvas8 is looking for a Freelance Community Content Manager to join our Membership team 3 days a week (ideally 1 day in our London office) for 3-4 months.
We are Canvas8, a strategic insights practice operating out of London, New York, Los Angeles, and Singapore. We help our clients understand people so they can make better business decisions. Our work investigates the hidden insights in everyday life – from the psychology of boredom to football fandom to why Barbiecore is a Gen Y thing – and makes them meaningful for brands. Our team is a blend of different disciplines and skills – from psychology to journalism, and anthropology to behavioural economics. What unites them is a desire to understand people and a passion for delivering outstanding work.
Working within the Membership team, you’ll get to know our members and their interests, challenges, and ambitions. And you’ll know precisely how the Canvas8 Membership can best answer these needs.
You’ll act as the ‘translator’; turning insights into engaging and relevant communications. One day that might be transforming a long list of platform updates into a high-value mailer for Key Contacts, and the next you’ll craft a campaign for creative directors delivering them inspiration for their Christmas ads.
You’ll be responsible for delivering the annual communications strategy which will directly increase member engagement, resulting in more event attendees, more product requests, and converting ghost members into engaged members.
As well as ensuring our design team is brilliantly briefed to create brand identities for mailers, videos, or landing pages, you’ll also report on how the campaigns perform and constantly drive for better results and engagement.
We are looking for someone who:
Has three to five years of experience in email marketing
Knows how to design and deliver a successful communication campaign
Is creative and can turn report copy into marketing content
Has experience using CRM systems, preferably Hubspot
Can analyse campaign reporting
Has first-rate organisation and schedule management skills
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is culturally aware and comfortable discussing complex ideas
