We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and help us define activation and conversion experiences that excite listeners and grow Spotify’s business worldwide. You’ll collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team of product designers and cross-functional peers, helping listeners get the most out of what’s available.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for design quality and cohesion for sophisticated user journeys
  • Define and frame the problem space and strategy for others, and explore multiple solutions before landing on a strong point of view and recommendation.
  • Back up ideas with clear rationale and data/insights, and understand what level of communication is needed for whom. Create strategy briefs, overview decks, and easy-to-navigate flows and specs. Confidently and regularly present in larger forums like All Hands.
  • Make sense of complexity, and find patterns and ways of organizing content and information that allow the customer to focus on the primary JTBD while also understanding where they are and how to navigate.
  • Balance the needs of multiple audiences at once, e.g., listener and creator needs.
  • Independently run low-risk research studies and tests. Partner with Researchers and Data Scientists to identify what questions we need to answer, and challenges/influences their team's understanding of the problem.
  • Deliver value across multiple products that meet team and Product Area objectives. Evaluate their work by what's shipped, not what's in the design file, and work to improve the way their team delivers impact.
  • Approach projects with a well-rounded mindset and deliver solutions that make an entire product or service more consistent, simpler, and easier to use.

  • Help shape and define a healthy and growing design organization, inside your team/domain and across the Design org.
  • Propose and help develop new standards, programs, and initiatives that positively impact or shift ways of working within your domain.
  • You have an interest and passion in crafting experiences that match people to the right products for them at the right time.

Where you'll be

  • Where in the world? This role will be located in the UK
  • Working hours? We operate within Central European for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone.
